Beximco Pharma launches Gensulin and GensuPEN2
Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited ("Beximco Pharma", "BPL" or "the Company"; AIM Symbol: BXP, LEI No.: 213800IMBBD6TIOQGB56), the fast-growing manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients launched clinically proven high quality European insulin ‘GENSULIN®’ on 3rd May 2019. The leading pharmaceutical company also launched the automated ergonomic insulin injection device ‘GensuPen2’ for the first time in Bangladesh.
‘GENSULIN®’- human insulin has been launched in collaboration with BIOTON from Poland, one of the largest insulin manufacturer of the world. GENSULIN® comes from the Modern State-of-the-art-manufacturing facility designed to meet EMA and FDA regulatory standards of Beximco Pharma. Alongside this, GensuPen2 is an Automated Ergonomic Injection device for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients to deliver Gensulin with confidence & comfort. Through the launching of ‘GENSULIN®’ and ‘GensuPen2’, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited has engraved yet another milestone in the history of Bangladesh.
The launching event was graced was graced by prominent medical professionals. Professor Emeritus Hajera Mahtab, Professor Emeritus & Chief Consultant Medicine of BIHS General Hospital was the chairperson of the event. Azad Khan, President of Diabetes Association of Bangladesh and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Bangladesh University of Health Sciences was present as chief guest.

Dr. Indrajit Prasad, Associate Professor at Dept. of Endocrinology of Dhaka Medical College was the moderator of the panel discussion.
Professor Leszek Czupryniak, Head of Department of Diabetology and Internal Medicine, Warsaw Medical University, Warsaw, Poland and Dr. Melanie Basio Duran, MD-Diabetologist, The New Beato-Caulin Hospital, Tunasan, Muntinlupa City & Tokyo Healthlink Inc were the two distinguished foreign physicians who spoke at the event about GENSULIN and GensuPen2 respectively.
More than 600 healthcare professionals were present in the event. They expressed their confidence in ‘Gensulin’ and ‘GensuPen2’.
